Morpheus 8 is a non-surgical device that uses micro-needling and radio frequency (RF) to stimulate collagen, tighten and firm skin, and reduce fat, wrinkles, stretch marks, and scars on the face and body. This device uses ultra-thin needles to deliver RF energy heat into the skin, creating controlled microinjuries. The treatment can contour, lift and tighten the skin by encouraging the renewal of skin cells and the production of collagen and elastin in the skin.  This can be used on the face and certain areas of the body.

How to Prepare

• Beginning two weeks before your treatment, you should avoid the sun. This includes sunbathing and tanning beds. 
• When you are around one to two weeks from your appointment, you will need to stop taking certain drugs or supplements.  We will go over that list of medications with you during the planning phase.
• When you have less than one week until your appointment, you will want to cut back on your skincare regimen. For best results, you will need to stop using anti-aging products, including Vitamin C, Retinoids, Retinols, Glycolic Acid, Tretinoin, and Alpha Hydroxy Acid. 
• A day or two prior to your treatment, avoid alcohol, stay hydrated and well rested!

Treatment

Morpheus 8 is an outpatient procedure.  First, a numbing cream is applied to the treatment areas. Then, the device will be administered to the skin, allowing the microneedles to penetrate the different layers and apply RF energy. People do not generally feel discomfort during the treatment, which can be done relatively quickly. 

Return to Your Day 

Patients can typically return to normal activities immediately following their procedure. It may cause some swelling or the feeling of tightness, but that subsides in a few days. For most patients, the redness associated with Morpheus 8 subsides within a day or two.

That being said, Morpheus 8 works best if you take certain precautions and ensure proper healing afterward. We recommend that you follow our post procedure care to get the best results.
